We have been piloting a program the last couple of summers for teen athletes and are planning to continue to offer CrossFit to teens in the Fall at our Uptown location
(310 41st Street, Oakland, CA 94609). If you would like to join us, here are the details:
The program is open to all interested teens – girls and boys.
No experience needed.
All fitness levels welcome.
We will teach you everything you need to know in a safe environment with experienced, knowledgeable and licensed CrossFit coaches.
Fall Session: September 1st – November 19th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm – 5pm.
This program will focus on age-appropriate strength and speed training as well as body weight gymnastics strength and skill work, flexibility and balance, agility and conditioning. Our goals for your teen:
Establish a life-long love of fitness
Offer an alternative to sedentary activities
Injury prevention for all athletic and active pursuits
Model and instruct in healthy life choices
Provide the physical and mental strength to tackle any obstacle thrown their way, inside or out of the gym
Build a community of like-minded teens
Have a ridiculous amount of fun
